About the Great Park

Located in the heart of Irvine, the Great Park is one of Southern California’s most significant public spaces and a signature destination within the City of Irvine. Owned and operated by the City, the Great Park is built on the former Marine Corps Air Station El Toro, honoring the history of the land while transforming it into a premier setting for recreation, culture, sports, entertainment, and community life.
